What Fruits/ Vegetables/ Herbs can My Hamster Eat?

Please note that fruit is great for Syrian hamsters in moderation, but is filled with too much sugar for dwarf hamsters. ūüė•¬† You can feed your dwarf/ roborovski hamster a little bit of fruit, but understand that too much may give your hamster diabetes. Thank you!

      • Apple (seedless)
      • Asparagus
      • Avocado (skinned and seedless)
      • Banana
      • Basil
      • Blackberries
      • Blueberries
      • Broccoli
      • Brussel Sprouts – small amounts occasionally – not all hamsters like the strong taste
      • Calabrese
      • Cabbage – should only be fed in small amounts occasionally as too much can cause health problems

      • Cauliflower leaves and stalks

      • Cherries – stones should be removed as they can be dangerous if gnawed
